One of the standout titles from the 1980s is Jet Set Willy, a sequel to Manic Miner, originally released for the ZX Spectrum in 1984 by Software Projects. This iconic game is now accessible as an in-app purchase within the Recreated ZX Spectrum app, which offers additional ZX Spectrum games along with Sinclair BASIC. For those seeking a standalone experience, Jet Set Willy is also available separately with an infinite-lives option.

This release stays true to the original ZX Spectrum game, certified as an officially licensed product and employing ZX Spectrum: Elite Collection technology. Key features include:

Gameplay allows players to navigate through a total of 60 flick-screen rooms at their own pace, collecting objects while avoiding hazards and patrolling monsters. Control is simplified to left, right, and jump actions, enhancing accessibility for players. However, as was the case with its initial release, Jet Set Willy is marred by a few bugs that hinder completion—collectively termed "The Attic Bug." These flaws resulted in unexpected room corruption upon entering The Attic and included issues such as disappearing monsters and instant deaths in various rooms. Initially dismissed as intentional difficulty features by Software Projects, these claims were later retracted in favor of providing corrections through specific POKEs.
